BidTheName collects public website URLs submitted for leaderboard listing, as well as public engagement metrics (likes, reposts, author handle) from linked announcement posts on X (formerly Twitter).

2. How Data Is Processed

Submitted URLs are processed to extract public HTML metadata (title tag, meta description) and high-resolution domain favicons to present clean project cards on the discovery board.

3. Data Protection & Privacy Guarantee

We never sell, rent, or trade private user information. All indexed social metrics are strictly based on public web APIs and user-submitted links.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal essential session cookies and local storage exclusively for remembering active filter preferences and maintaining leaderboard sync state.

5. Data Removal & Privacy Requests
